From Hungary to Antarctica and a New Way of Thinking About Tourism

I had the privilege to talk about my tourism career journey all around the world with Carmen Bold on the Tourism Matters podcast.

This is one of the most relevant podcasts in the tourism arena introducing the vibrant and often labyrinth-like, but exciting career journeys in travel and tourism. The purpose is simple, inspire others and learn from each other with real-life professional experiences and stories.

Tourism is about connecting people, cultures and the different parts of the world. Doing that through honest conversations about the jobs, the work experiences, changes in professional life and the opportunities in the tourism landscape is an excellent way to do that. From a brand new and fresh perspective.

My path has taken me from my tiny hometown in Hungary all around the world to amazing places all the way to Antarctica. With diverse opportunities and professional moves and decisions. Some of them were not easy to make, the others just were natural. What is definitely true, as Carmen wonderfully said, nothing was wasted on my journey, everything was used to build on. My career definitely has not been a straight line, but who would want that?

I hope you listen and get some inspiration to keep going, exploring and through your own journey find the best path for yourself.
